Roberto Saviano was intereviewed by La Repubblica's Leopoldo Fabiani today about his book, Gomorra : Viaggio nell'impero economico e nel sogno di dominio della camorra. Saviano talks about how at the beginning there were only 5000 copies printed of his book which, ironically enough, has gone on to sell millions of copies not only in Italy but around the world (as the book has already been translated into several languages and made into a film!). Saviano touches on writing the book and how his life has been shaped since the book's publication. But it's an interesting and enlightening interview.If you haven't read the book, I encourage you to read it. It's quite brilliant and eye-opening.
