Just recently published at the end of last year, Raffaele Sardo's La Bestia : storie di delitti, vittime e complici examines the victims, crimes and accomplices that have been affected by the Camorra. The book has been described as "moving" and "touching" by many commentators and readers, and it is easy to see why this book has been described so.The book also features a preface by Roberto Saviano, the author of the best-selling book Gomorra: viaggio nell'impero economico e nel sogno di dominio della camorra. Since the publication of Saviano's book, one could argue that there has been a notable uptick in works of a similar theme, that work to expose the evils and threat of the Camorra, an organized crime group that is often less reported on than its Sicilian counterpart, Cosa Nostra.
The author was interviewed on March 19, 2009 by RaiNews 24 -- you can see the interview here (in Italian). There's also a good review of the book on Wuz.
