Interview with Andrea Camilleri

Noted Sicilian writer, Andrea Camilleri, can be seen here in an interview with Serena Dandini on the Italian program, Parla con me. The interview was broadcast on May 8th, 2009.

Andrea Camilleri is not only a writer but also a screenwriter and a theater director. This is an interesting interview with one of Italian's leading living authors. He's quite a character, and his Italian is also quite easy to understand.

Camilleri is most noted for his books on Inspector Montalbano. He also wrote a new piece of fiction which I hope to review soon (Un sabato, con gli amici) as well as short stories and other works -- you can find a list of them here on ibs.it.
