Roberto Saviano on "Radio Anch'io"

Roberto Saviano made an appearance yesterday on the radio program, Radio Anch'io, discussing the economic impact of Italy. On the program, Saviano argues that the Camorra (and probably, the mafia in general) is the largest economic driving force in Italy. You can read about some of his comments on RaiNews 24.

I wanted to take this opportunity to discuss a book that I have purchased (but not yet read), entitled La bellezza e l'inferno - a publication of Saviano's writings from 2004-2009.

As you may already know, Saviano is the author of Gomorra, one of Italy's most best-selling books about the Camorra. It was recently made into a movie (which I plan to watch this weekend).

I'll be reading this new book soon and will post a more detailed review.
